The Gendered Child 2021
This current project I am working on revolves around the themes of identity in relation to space, specifically this idea of ‘Home’.
I have been living in Essex for a large portion of my life and all throughout the Covid-19 pandemic I have been struggling to make work, but I have grown attached to my county and the stereotypes that persist within it.
This is the Gendered Child, another hexaptych, explores the ideas of masculinity and femininity through abstract visuals and expressing what gender means in relation to the Essex Stereotype
